This is a shrine with an impressive large vermilion torii gate. It was built in 1895, recreating the building that had been performing national ceremonies for about 400 years since the end of the 8th century. The contrast between the vivid red-painted shrine and the white sand spread throughout the precincts is breathtaking. In its Japanese garden, you can enjoy seasonal flowers including weeping cherry blossoms and seasonal scenery such as fresh greenery and autumn leaves.
