Kyoto International Manga Museum, jointly operated by Kyoto City and Kyoto Seika University, is Japan’s first manga museum and library, displaying Japanese and international manga, along with valuable related materials. It also features Japanese versions of internationally popular manga, making it a great destination for foreign visitors. One of the museum’s unique highlights is the outdoor reading area, where guests can enjoy manga while feeling the breeze and sunlight.
With unlimited same-day re-entry, visitors can freely explore the museum at their own pace. Don’t miss the museum café, where walls are covered with autographed illustrations from famous manga artists—a must-see for any manga enthusiast!
