The landmark to look for when finding Hankyu Sanbangai is the 1st-floor concourse of Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station. This is the concourse located in front of Kinokuniya Bookstore [South Building 1F]. The large digital signage area in front of it is a popular meeting spot known as “BIGMAN.”

HANKYU SANBAN GAI is divided into two parts: North Building and South Building.

The photo below shows the view from outside on the ground level. The road under Hankyu Railway’s overpass separates the two: the South Building is on the left, and the North Building, home to the Hankyu Highway Bus Terminal, is on the right.

Important Tip: You cannot move between the North and South Buildings on the B1 floor.

The two buildings are connected only at the ground floor and B2 floor.

Since the structure is quite complex, first-time visitors are recommended to use B2 for easier navigation.

The floors in both North and South Buildings range from B2 up to the second floor.

Maremare Pumpshop Japan Craft Hankyu Sanbangai Store [South Building 1F]

“Maremare Pumpshop Japan Craft” is a popular store specializing in high-quality, Japanese-made shoes carefully crafted by Japanese artisans.

The reason for their popularity is the truly comfortable fit that satisfies even those with high insteps and wide feet! We even recommend buying a pair if your feet get tired while traveling!

They offer pumps and casual shoes in basic designs that are versatile for various occasions, and many people come back to buy them again and again for their long-lasting comfort.

The store is located along the “Umechayako-ji / Hankyu Used Book Street,” to the east of Kinokuniya Bookstore.
