The collaboration project with TOM and JERRY and Hankyu Railway will be started from August 23, 2024 to March 27, 2025.

TOM and JERRY trains feature exclusive artwork of Tom and Jerry going to tourist spots along the Hankyu line and getting up to hilarious mischief along the way. Also, plush toys of Tom and Jerry wearing maroon uniforms will also accompany the driver’s compartment. Moreover, the trains will also feature interior decorations, including stickers cleverly depicting Tom chasing Jerry throughout the train.

1. Who are TOM and JERRY?

Tom and Jerry is a slapstick humor animation loved around the world, first brought to fans in 1940, featuring the chase between the cat Tom and the mouse Jerry. Tom and Jerry’s 85th Anniversary is being celebrated in Japan from 2024, leading up to the anniversary in 2025.

2. Operation of Tom and Jerry trains

■Operation Information

・Operation period: 2024.8.23 (Fri) ~ 2025.3.27 (Thu)

・Trains: one for each on Kobe Line/Takarazuka Line/Kyoto Line. Three trains in total (1000 series and 1300 series)

■Train Design

The 1st and 8th cars (front and rear) of each train will be decorated in exclusive artwork of Tom and Jerry going to tourist spots along the Hankyu line.

*Designs will vary on each line

■Original Headmarks

The 1st and 8th cars (front and rear) of each train will be marked with an original design headmark.

■Plush toys in the driver’s compartment

Stuffed toys of Tom and Jerry wearing maroon uniforms will also accompany the driver’s compartment.

*Tom and Jerry will accompany you in the Osaka-umeda direction, and Jerry and Tuffy will accompany you in the Kobe-sannomiya, Takarazuka, and Kyoto-kawaramachi directions.

*Plush toys are common to all three lines.

3. Stamp Rally & Hankyu 1day Pass

A stamp rally will be held along the Hankyu Railway lines, where visitors can collect “TOM and JERRY x HANKYU” stamps and receive the prize. Hankyu 1day Pass ticket that is convenient for participating in the stamp rally will also be on sale.

4. Collaboration Goods Information

Originally designed collaboration goods will be on sale, including plush toys of Tom and Jerry wearing maroon uniforms, towel handkerchiefs, drawstrings, pouches, and acrylic stands.

■Place: COLOR FiELD, a.d.r.e.s, DOUBLEDAY (some stores/Official Online Store), Kiddy Land Osaka-Umeda store, Lawson along Hankyu Hanshin (some stores), the official online store for Hankyu Train goods HANKYU DENSHA SHOP, and the smart locker “Torikuro”.

5. Collaboration Food Information

TOM and JERRY x HANKYU collaboration food will be available at five hotels directly managed by Hankyu Hanshin Hotels and at some restaurants of stores along Hankyu and Hanshin Railway from September 4.
