Just a one-minute walk from the popular Kyoto tourist spot, Shinkyogoku Street! Relax with adorable mameshiba (midget Shiba Inu) in a nostalgic Japanese setting while enjoying a complimentary drink.
With tatami flooring, a low chabudai table, and an old-school CRT TV, the café recreates a classic Japanese-style living room. A variety of mameshiba-brown, black, and white-roam freely in the space. Some even wear the iconic karakusa bandana! If you sit quietly, they may hop onto your lap. Since the floor is tatami, please remove your shoes before entering.

The only place in Kyoto where you can interact with otters! The otters here were formerly kept as pets and now warmly welcome guests in their cozy new home. You’ll get to see their charming, at-home behavior up close-something you won’t experience at an aquarium.
Guests can try feeding the otters and giving them water. If they’re in a good mood, one might even climb onto your lap or shoulder! For those who want a more private encounter, private sessions (25,000 yen per group) and even home-visit services (starting from 40,000 yen) are available.
