Hotel Hankyu International’s strawberry-themed afternoon tea begins with a welcome drink. It is served on a beautiful tea stand with five savory dishes and scones.
The savory menu is authentic and delicious, skillfully using a variety of ingredients, such as lobster royale (Western-style steamed egg custard) with caviar, and roast beef with the aromatic scent of truffle oil and strawberry croissant sandwiches.
Meanwhile, four sweets, including strawberry pavlova and strawberry tiramisu, and strawberries are on one plate. The chef’s ideas of combining unexpected ingredients shine through, such as using fu(wheat gulten bread) chocolates as an accent and rice cooked with milk.
Afternoon tea is served with petit fours and free-flowing drink such as“JING TEA”, a tea brand founded in 2004.
