On the first floor of HANKYU SANBAN GAI’s North Building, five pieces of work that elaborately recreate tourist spots in Kansai with LEGO® bricks are exhibited in a space along the passageway. The entire production was done by Junpei Mitsui, the only LEGO® certified professional builder in Japan. The work “Arashiyama”, which vividly expresses the beautiful scenery and the city, uses about 50,000 pieces. Other works, such as the one based on Hokusai Katsushika’s ukiyoe “Kanagawa Okinamiura,” are also worth seeing for their powerful, large scale works that will draw you in.
