The complex is divided into three main areas—Umekita Plaza, the South Building, and the North Building—so it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with the access routes and store layout before your visit. 1. How to Get to GRAND FRONT OSAKA

GRAND FRONT OSAKA consists of three main areas: Umekita Plaza, the South Building, and the North Building. Although it’s conveniently located in the heart of Osaka–Umeda, the route to the complex varies depending on which station you arrive at, so it’s worth checking your access in advance.

 

From JR Osaka Station, exit through the Connecting Bridge Gate (Renrakukyō-guchi) and turn right. You’ll immediately see GRAND FRONT OSAKA ahead. Take the escalator down and continue straight to reach the South Building.

 

Below is a detailed guide for visitors arriving via Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station.

 

Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station has three ticket gates. To reach GRAND FRONT OSAKA, exit through the 3rd Floor Main Ticket Gate, then take the escalator down toward the ground level.

After taking the escalator down, turn right.

Just in front of McDonald’s, you’ll find a small staircase leading up to a pedestrian walkway. It’s easy to miss, so keep an eye out for it.

Once on the pedestrian walkway, continue straight, with Yodobashi Camera on your right.

Follow the passageway beside LUCUA Osaka.

After passing through the walkway alongside LUCUA, you’ll see the South Building of GRAND FRONT OSAKA on your right.

Cross the passage, and you’ll arrive at the South Building entrance of GRAND FRONT OSAKA.

2. Business Hours & Closing Days

GRAND FRONT OSAKA is home to a wide variety of shops and restaurants, making it an ideal destination for a full day of shopping and dining. Both the retail stores and restaurants open at 11:00 a.m. Shops generally close at 9:00 p.m., while most restaurants stay open until 11:00 p.m. (some close at 10:00 p.m.).

After crossing the 2nd-floor pedestrian deck directly connected to JR Osaka Station, you’ll arrive at the South Building of GRAND FRONT OSAKA. Continue through the indoor passageway to reach the North Building. Since the South and North Buildings are connected by a 2nd-floor walkway, it’s easy to move between the two once you’re inside.
