Standing at approximately 46 meters tall, the Yasaka Pagoda is a striking five-story pagoda and one of the most iconic landmarks in Higashiyama, Kyoto. It belongs to Hokanji Temple, which is said to have been founded during the Asuka period. The current pagoda was rebuilt during the Muromachi period and has since been designated as an Important Cultural Property.
