Hanshin Koshien Stadium was opened in 1924 for the purpose of holding high school baseball tournaments. Since then, the stadium has been the stage for countless famous games as the holy land of high school baseball, as well as the home stadium of the Hanshin Tigers professional baseball team, giving birth to many heroes.
