This is a scenic 2-kilometer walking path connecting Ginkaku-ji and Nanzen-ji. Recognized as one of Japan’s Top 100 Roads, it is a highly popular spot for walking. The area is dotted with numerous temples and shrines, including Ginkaku-ji, making it ideal for exploring on foot. In spring, around 500 cherry trees bloom along both sides of the canal, tinting the water a delicate pink and creating a romantic landscape.
