Start your sightseeing from Hankyu Arashiyama Station. Starting from Hankyu Arashiyama Station, located at the western end of the Arashiyama area, you can first cross the Togetsukyo Bridge, one of the most famous landmarks in Arashiyama. After that, you can go into the center of the city where souvenir stores are lined up, so you can save time by not having to go backwards on your sightseeing course.

4.A small path through a Sagano Bamboo Grove in the midst of freshness

The path from Nomiya Shrine to Okochi Villa is about 400 meters long, with beautiful bamboo stretching straight to the sky. On a windy day, you will be surrounded by the sound of shifting leaves, and when it rains, the bamboos get wet and the area is filled with the fragrance of bamboo. 6.The only hair shrine in Japan, Mikami Shrine

8.A hidden place in Arashiyama⁉Senkouji Temple on the mountain

Senkoji Temple is located about 1km upstream from Togetsukyo Bridge. From the Kannondo (Goddess of Mercy) Hall, Daigikaku, built on the steep rock face of the Oigawa River, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Arashiyama Gorge.
It is a bit of a hike up a hill, but it is highly recommended for those who want to see Arashiyama from a different place.

9.Fukuda Art Museum, where you can enjoy both art and a spectacular view
